Welcome to our open band site. We invite musicians of all skill levels to join the Contradictions on stage for an evening of music, fun and the unexpected. We play Old Time Hoe Downs, Irish Reels & Jigs, Bluegrass, Marches, French Canadian Reels and Waltz's. 

The next open band dance will be on November 9, 2008 at the Veterans Hall in La Verne California. 1550 Bonita Ave., corner of Wheeler and Bonita.   

The hall opens about 1:15pm. We have a jam session from 1:30 until 3:30pm.  Very often many of the tunes played at the jam are later played for the dance. The dance starts at 4 p.m. and ends at 7 p.m. Anyone wishing to join us should plan to be at the hall by 3pm.
